Had lunch at Punjabi Kitchen today – and it was a real taste of home! The food was flavorful, fresh, and full of authentic Punjabi spices. Naan was perfectly soft and fresh Dal Makhani had that slow-cooked depth Generous portions & quick service Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere made it even better. If you’re craving real North Indian food in Auckland, this place is definitely worth a visit! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Will be back soon!

What an absolute to be here to have Indian food. In its most authentic form. Everything we had so tasteful and so satisfying. You can’t miss Indian food after having all the dishes they serve here. Definitely go for Veg Chowmein and Chicken minced naan. Chef’s kiss for both of them. We also had Sabji miloni, which was an absolute best. And then coming to the ambiance - Very neat & has a warm inviting vibe. The owners are also the ones who would serve you and the hospitality they give seems like they have been professionally trained but also makes you feel like you’re family. Once you meet Manisha & Sunil, you would experience what I’m talking about. We went with another couple (who already is a regular there) for dinner and it was so comforting to have Indian food on a foreign land. I would recommend this to anyone in a heartbeat!

Amazing customer service! The staff were so warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. We ordered the Paneer Malai Methi and absolutely loved it the paneer was incredibly soft and the curry was rich, flavourful, and perfectly spiced. Their garlic naan deserves a special mention crispy, thin, and unlike any naan I’ve had before. So light yet full of flavour. We also tried the Virgin Mojito, which was very refreshing with a generous amount of mint. Loved the fresh, balanced taste Highly recommend this place

We’ve been to Punjabi Kitchen on Lincoln Road many times now, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently full of flavour, portions are generous, and the service is always warm and welcoming. You can tell they put real heart into what they do. Easily one of our favourite spots for authentic Indian cuisine in West Auckland; highly recommend!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Punjabi Kitchen Henderson! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. The food was exceptional — every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour. Clearly, the chef put great care and passion into his work. A special mention to Simran, who made our visit even more memorable. Her professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail were outstanding. She personally checked in to ensure everything was perfect, and we genuinely appreciated the thoughtful service. Overall, this is one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality food, great ambience, and top-notch hospitality. Can’t wait to visit again. :-)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Authentic Flavor and Warm Hospitality! Dining at punjabi kitchen was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, the cozy ambiance and friendly staff made me feel right at home. The menu is packed with a variety of classic Punjabi dishes, and everything I tried was packed with flavor. The butter chicken was creamy and perfectly spiced, while the dal makhani had that rich, smoky flavor that’s hard to find elsewhere. The naan was fresh, soft, and a perfect accompaniment to every dish. What stood out the most was the genuine hospitality – the staff made sure everything was perfect and took the time to explain the different dishes on the menu. If you're craving authentic Punjabi food in a welcoming atmosphere, Punjabi Kitchen is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back!

I recently visited Punjabi Kitchen Henderson, and it was truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the staff welcomed us with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. They were attentive throughout the meal, checking in at the right moments without being intrusive. The food was exceptional — full of rich, authentic Punjabi flavours that tasted just like a comforting home-cooked meal. Every dish felt freshly prepared and perfectly balanced. The spices were spot on, not too strong but full of depth. You can tell the kitchen team really takes pride in their cooking. The ambience of the restaurant is cosy, clean, and inviting. It feels like a place you can enjoy with family, friends, or even for a casual lunch. The service was quick, and the portions were generous, offering great value for money. Overall, Punjabi Kitchen Henderson exceeded my expectations. Amazing food, lovely service, and a warm atmosphere.
